One great reason to eat PIZZA

To help participants of the  31st Pan-Mass Challenge (“PMC”) and to raise money for cancer research for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (through the Jimmy Fund).  This year, there will be a great fundraising event where you don’t have to spend any more money than the cost of your dinner.  Flatbread Company Pizza, which just opened a new location in Davis Square, Somerville, is hosting an awesome benefit night on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.  A portion of all pizza sales between 5pm and 11pm will be donated to Jared’s PMC effort.  All you have to do is come and eat with your family and friends!

There will also be a raffle for many great, valuable gift certificates including a 1 Hour Nutrition Consultation by Josh Gould of Exercise Expertise and massages from Boston Massage and Acupuncture.

If you would like to learn more about the event’s host and PMC participant Jared, please visit his blog at http://closerbythemile.blogspot.com.

You can find more information about the PMC at http://www.pmc.org.  Most notably, Dana-Farber receives 100% of donated dollars because the PMC is well-funded by many generous sponsors.

Flatbread is located at 45 Day Street in Somerville (attached to Sacco’s bowling).  Flatbread is a very cool, community-oriented, ecologically/socially-responsible restaurant that makes incredible pizza. http://www.flatbreadcompany.com/2007Purpose&Values.htm

Please let me know if you have any questions.  NOW GO EAT SOME PIZZA!!!!

Thanks,

Josh Gould
